I was originally going to have two characters in this image, but a lack of time management along with some other issues led to only having the environment to be drawn in time. I drew the environment first, but when adding characters I didn't feel it looked right. This project taught me that I need to plan out the entire piece before I start drawing, so I know how everything will fit together beforehand. The colors were originally just placeholders so I could easily fill it in later, but I liked them and decided to keep it. I made sure the shadows were all lined up with each other, and made the cliff face look cracked and uneven.
